Providence UMC's weekday front desk volunteers are incredibly important to our ministry. We currently have only a handful of wonderful, dedicated ladies who work at our welcome desk from 10 AM - 2 PM. It is necessary for us to start getting back to the schedule we had pre-pandemic, which was two shifts per day, Monday through Friday: 9 AM -1 PM and 1 PM - 5 PM.

The volunteer responsibilities involve answering the main phone line and greeting/helping those who come into the church. Occasionally, the volunteers help with some light administrative work such as assisting with large mailings.

If anyone would be willing to work either the morning or afternoon shift, whether it's once a month, twice a month, once a week, etc., please contact Lisa Cope.
