IGNITE PROVIDENCE is PUMC’s collaborative visioning and strategic planning process. It invites every generation in our congregation to share feedback, engage in active conversation, and think creatively as we Reimagine Tomorrow for our church. Rooted in Faith, we will join together to seek God’s direction for our church’s bold and vibrant future.

Providence UMC, Dilworth UMC, St. Francis UMC, and St. Stephen UMC have a collective Men's Gathering group. This group meets quarterly. Providence UMC is hosting the next meeting on Thursday, September 3. The free event will include a meal, a devotion, and a special presentation by Scott Fowler of the Charlotte Observer. Join us!

We are “on mission” when we reach across the street to make God’s love so real to those experiencing a crisis that it radically gives hope in a difficult situation. Thank you to those who continue to contribute to our ongoing partnership with Crisis Assistance Ministry. We’ve give over $1000 EACH MONTH to assist with utilities and rent.
