Shaping our Shared Vision: Initiatives Drafting
We’ve done the research. We’ve defined our vision. We’ve built our strategies. Now it’s time to bring it all to life. On Sunday, May 17, we held an interactive, ninety-minute workshop where we collaborated, created, and contributed specific ideas that will turn our Visioning Day strategies into meaningful action.
If you were not able to participate in person, or if you have additional ideas you would like to contribute, there is still time to share your hopes and vision for Providence. A digital version of the initiatives drafting form will remain open until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, May 19. Instructions and a link to the form can be found below.

PUMC’s Vision:
By 2031, Providence is a vibrant, diverse, Christ-centered community calling all generations to life-changing love, discipleship, and service.
PUMC’s Goals:
Goal 1 – Strengthening the Core By 2031, Providence is and is known as a thriving intergenerational faith community.
Goal 2 – Building the Body By 2031, Providence is a welcoming church home that equips all people seeking authentic connections and spiritual growth with each other through the transformative love of Jesus Christ.
Goal 3 – Going Forth into the World By 2031, Providence is Charlotte’s missional hub for Christ-centered outreach and witness.
