The Providence United Methodist Women (UMW) General Meeting will be on March 1 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel. We are fortunate to have Emily Atkinson Ratliff as our speaker. Emily grew up at Providence UMC and participated in many youth activities. She will speak about Claire's Army, which is a charitable organization she and her husband founded after the loss of their daughter, Claire, from neuroblastoma cancer. While Claire was in the hospital, her family was helped with everyday necessities by an "army" of family and friends. Claire's Army does the same for other families with a child battling cancer. This support allows parents to focus their time and attention on their child. Please join us for Emily's inspiring story.
