Children’s Music will kick off on Wednesday, September 13.  

We are so excited about the new Music Ministry program year, and we are hopeful that your child(ren) will be here to jump into the fall with us as we raise our voices (safely) in song, learn about how and why we worship, and learn music rudiments through games, singing and playing instruments. We have a great year planned!  We hope to see you Wednesday, September 13!

Children’s Music

(1st – 5th graders)

Participants will lead worship approximately once each month (September-April). This group learns music reading skills, they learn to be good singers, and most importantly, they learn what it means to worship and how to be good leaders in worship.

 Genesis Ringers

Children enrolled in Children’s Music are eligible to ring in the Genesis Ringers handbell choir. This is a great group to reinforce musical concepts and to have a lot of fun making music in a kinesthetic way!

Youth Music kicks off on Sunday, September 11 at 4:30 pm.

 Our Youth Music (rising 6th — 12th graders) is a dedicated group of amazing young people who enjoy making music together singing and ringing handbells. No musical experience is necessary!  Rehearsals take place Sunday afternoons before UMYF in the music ministry rehearsal room under the Sanctuary.
