The Friends & Families of Veterans is a ministry committed to acknowledging the service of the veterans, their families, and active duty military who are part of the Providence community. Each year, Memorial Day is set aside to pay tribute to those who have died in service to their country. To honor the deceased veterans of Providence, we will be conducting a short remembrance service on Sunday, May 28 at 12:15 PM in the Columbarium. In the event of inclement weather, it will take place in the Atrium. Invitations have been sent to the families of our deceased veterans and we welcome everyone to join them for this tribute.
