Join us at Providence UMC for our weekly Centering Prayer meeting over Zoom on Mondays at noon. Centering Prayer is an ancient Christian method of silent prayer, which prepares us to deepen our personal relationship with God. In Centering Prayer we seek to consent to God’s presence and action within. Centering Prayer is not meant to replace other kinds of prayer; rather it casts a new light and depth of meaning on them.
