DROP OFF ITEMS SUN AUG 9 / DROP OFF BOX OUTSIDE CHURCH DOORS

The Principal at Oakhurst has asked Providence UMC to help with the spirits of the studestaff as they come back to school for remote learning. Providence is giving the 75 staff members a "Bag of Sunshine" to let them know how special they are! Providence will also be providing a financial contribution for all staff and student t-shirts, #OakhurstStrong. The principal really wants to rebuild community spirit!  

Here is how you can help:

• Pray for Oakhurst! Pray for them to have patience and perseverance as they go into the year teaching remotely.

• Write a letter of gratitude for a teacher. This can be from an adult or child and will be included in the bag.

• Make / Color a picture for a teacher to be included in the bag.

• Donate a Washable mask (homemade or store bought) for a teacher to be included in the bag.

ITEMS DROP OFF Items need to be dropped off at the church by the end of the day Sunday, August 9. There will be a box marked "Oakhurst" outside the front doors to drop your items.
