Get ready for our first ever “Undie Sunday” on August 28.   We will be collecting underwear, socks, and undershirts (sizes 4, 6, and 8), for kids at Oakhurst Elementary.  Drop off your supplies in the yellow collection box in the Atrium.

Also, be sure to bring your child’s backpack to either of our worship services for a Blessing of the Backpacks.  This tradition is a tangible way for the children of our congregation to invite God into their preparation for the new school year.

And, later in the day, join us in the grassy fenced in area from 3:30-5:00 pm to say farewell to summer and kick off a new school year with our Back To School Bash.  Bring a picnic snack or dinner along with a blanket or chairs. 

Kids, don’t forget a swimsuit and towel.  We are going to get wet!
