ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE
WED / FEB 17 12:30PM / IN-PERSON & LIVESTREAMAsh Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a period of forty days (not including Sundays) in which Christians prepare spiritually for the celebration of Easter. There will be one worship service with in-person and livestream options at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, February 17. In-person worshipers will be offered the imposition of ashes on their hands rather than foreheads with Q-tips (used only for them). Those worshiping via Livestream are invited to collect a small amount of soil in advance and place it in a bowl for use during the service as an alternative to ashes. Pre-registration for in-person worship is required on the church website REGISTER ONLINE or by contacting Lisette Helveston by EMAIL or call 704-714-9362. The video of the service will be available on the church website for on demand viewing.

IMPOSING OF ASHES
WED / FEB 17 1-2PM / UNDER THE PORTICO
From 1pm to 2pm that same day, under the portico in front of the main entrance to the church, pastors will impose ashes on the hands of persons who might prefer to drive by the church rather than worship indoors. Again, Q-tips will be used to impose the ashes.
