Queen City Christmas Angels (QCCA) is a wonderful opportunity for us to inspire kindness, generosity, and togetherness within our Charlotte community by granting Christmas wishes for underserved children.
This is not your normal Christmas drive! QCCA is an intentional way to provide gifts that not only put smiles on children’s faces and let them know they are loved but it also helps build strong relationships between the child and the community leader presenting the gifts.
How it works: Choose an Angel (or multiple) that represents a local child (ages range from 14 and under). Angels will be ready for pickup in the Atrium beginning Sunday, November 20. Each Angel will have the child’s first name, last initial, age, and gender on the front of the card. On the back is a wish list of gift ideas for that specific child. After shopping and returning gifts to Providence UMC (due by December 13), they will be handed to a teacher, counselor, social worker, police officer, or community leader, who will present them to the child.
