What is a livewire? You could say that a livewire is full of electricity and power. You could also say a livewire has a certain ‘spark.’ Our LiveWires ministry has a spark, as well as its members live life to the fullest as senior adults who have a deep, abiding love of God. They care for one another and others, and they celebrate life’s joys and share in its sorrows. In all ways, they live a life of faith and discipleship. Now, that’s the power of love!

LiveWires is a Christian Fellowship ministry at Providence UMC for senior adults (age 55+) designed to nurture the spirit and faith of its participants through monthly luncheons and programs, prayer and celebrations, fellowship outings, and more. All seniors are invited to join us!

LiveWires meets once on month for a luncheon on the third Thursday at 12 noon. Come early for fellowship if you can at 11:30am. Program topics and speakers are announced in the VOICE newsletter and showcased on the LiveWires bulletin board in the hallway to the right of the Welcome Center.
