GIFTS FOR CHILDREN IN NEED ACROSS CHARLOTTE

+ ANGEL NAMES AVAILABLE IN THE ATRIUM BEGINNING SUN NOV 24 / GIFTS RETURNED TO THE CHURCH BY SUN DEC 15
This Christmas Providence is partnering Queen City Christmas Angels (QCCA) to inspire kindness and generosity within our community by granting Christmas wishes for underserved youth. What started out as a mission to fulfill the needs of 50 local children quickly grew into an unbelievable outpouring of love and support for over 200 children in Charlotte! QCCA is an intentional way to spread the message of Christmas by strengthening relationships between at-risk children and the people who serve them in their everyday lives such as teachers, counselors, police officers- the list goes on! Many of these teachers, counselors, and everyday heroes don’t have the means to purchase Christmas gifts for the many children and families they serve on a daily basis. QCCA creates a personal touch on both ends of the giving and receiving.
When you pick a name off the tree, the child you buy for lives right here in Charlotte. Because of the personal relationships these children have with people in their everyday lives, our giving is driven by what that child needs. It might be a coat, hoodie, or pants for the ones who walk to school every day in nothing but a t-shirt, or shoes for those whose toes are coming out of their current pair because they are completely worn out. Each tag will have the child’s basic needs as well as something fun that they love! These children’s ages will range from 3-18 years old. There is also no limit to giving, no dollar threshold to meet. It’s giving based upon an Angel’s heart. We as Providence hope to help QCCA in order to help all children right here in our City!
Starting November 24th there will be trees in the Atrium with names of angels and their information! You are invited to take one or as many as you want to help! Please make sure that all of the gifts that you buy are wrapped and returned to the church by December 15th!
