The primary mission of Congregational Care is to ensure that the care needs of the Providence UMC congregation are met.  Within this work area, services are provided that promote care for our congregation: Prayer Ministry, Stephen Ministry, Homebound Ministry, Hospital Visitation, Special Needs, Bereavement Ministry and Medical Equipment Assistance. For additional information about the ministries of Congregational Care contact our chairperson.

Bereavement Ministry

Consists of caring and dedicated members who are available to serve families following the loss of a loved one, guiding and helping before, during, and after the funeral/memorial service.  For advanced planning documents and pre-planning for services, contact Pastor Bill Jeffries or Adam Ward

Career Transitions

The purpose of this Monday morning meeting is to provide a confidential, Christian small group fellowship for those making job or career changes. Individuals may discuss feelings, common issues, and practical actions during this transition time in a person’s life. It is a ministry of the Church that is open to all persons seeking such a change whether a church member or not.

The facilitators are church members who have a heart for this transition and know the ropes of this experience. The group meets from 11:00 AM until Noon in room 106 each Monday. We are also partnering with Charlotte Works. They may be contacted at 980.201.3256 or at www.charlotteworks.com.
If you have a resume that you want reviewed, contact Rinaldi or if you have other questions you may contact Rich or Pastor Bill Jeffries.
