Small Group Ministry
ChristCare groups are gatherings of six to twelve persons who meet on a regular basis with a trained, commissioned and supervised leader. These groups offer:
- Mutual care and encouragement - Warm relationships among group members help create a place to share joys, sorrows and faith.
- Prayer and worship - They offer themselves to God, join themselves to God's purposes and receive God's power. They respond to God's love with thanks and praise. They ask for God's help for one another and others.
- Biblical studies - Biblical equipping is a focused way for ChristCare group members to hear God's word more clearly, know and love God and others more deeply, and serve God more joyfully.
- Service and outreach to others - Groups may be evangelistic, may have a ministry of prayer, or serve God by meeting various congregational of community needs.
The ChristCare groups at Providence are LunchBunch, Crosstallker Squares, Trinity, Merry Hearts, Book Club and Balance. For more information contact Sandy Arey at email/704.258.1205704.258.1205.
